Some of the services provided by USS are as follows: 24 hour patrols of our Community via a well marked vehicle with the Officers name attached to the door, or foot patrol. Respond to emergency/non-emergency which include suspicious person(s) calls from residents.  (ALWAYS CALL 911 FIRST IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION).  The Security vehicle is equipped with jumper cables, a fire extinguisher, first aid supplies and a flashlight. Deter/detect criminals who violate owners' property or persons. Check on supicious persons and or solicitors. Provide "vacation or out-of-town checks" of homeowners' property.  Security Officers patrol and walk the outside of the home with home owners permission.  Arrangements for mail and newspaper pickup must be made by the resident.  (This is not a function of Security Officers).  Residents are responsible for requesting and completeing "vacation or out-of-town checks" at the security office and for providing Officers with the names and phone numbers of who will be entering the property, who has keys to the home, and a description of any cars to be on the property, along with license plate numbers.  A telephone contact number is also needed in case of an emergency, such as an activated house alarm.
